Don't Read This If You Haven't Seen The Joker [SPOILER]
I watched the Joker last night.
Amazing movie with outstanding acting and cinematography.
The Joker is obviously quite a troubled character and I put it down to these two things.
1) The Joker was misunderstood.
His medical condition that made him randomly breakout in hysterical laughter lead his mother and others to think that he was a happy kid growing up and a happy person in adult life.
Every thought was a negative thought.
He was beaten and abandoned.
He was not happy one day of his life but because he would break out in hysterical laughter, people misunderstood him for being happy.
2) The Joker was neglected.
The initial neglect he felt from his mother, made him feel as if he wasn't loved.
As he tried to pursue a stand up comedy career, he was laughed at and discriminated.
He was told he wasn't funny and got fired from his job.
He was also beaten up a couple of times just for doing his job and standing up for a woman on the train.
He felt as if he didn't exist... complete neglect.
Being misunderstood and neglected leads to rebellion.
If you have a personal trainer that misunderstands you and neglects your training history, previous injuries, dietary preferences and lifestyle, you will rebel.
You won't follow what your trainer says.
You won't feel motivated to achieve your goals.
And just as the Joker went on a killing rampage, with the wrong personal trainer and advice you could be at risk of killing your chances of success.
MISUNDERSTANDING AND NEGLECT LEADS TO REBELLION.
