I'm Two - Faced!
Ever since Christmas Eve I have had dessert with every meal.
I'm a coach who works in the fitness industry, changing lives and transforming bodies for a living and I have literally stuffed my face with ice cream, trifle, eclairs, cake, custard and bread and butter pudding.
Double standards right?
Educating people in healthy, nutritious foods and indulging in sweet foods.
Two faced, yeah?
Truth is I once was so afraid of carbohydrates, I avoided strawberries.
I was so afraid of gluten I didn't eat bread, even though I'm not a coeliac.
I wore a rubbish bag as a singlet when I did cardio to sweat it out and burn more calories.
I ate ice and drunk green tea to try and speed up my metabolism.
The simple fact of me saying 'yes' to dessert is a massive, massive step.
Just because you're not losing weight doesn't mean you're not progressing.
Progress can be made off the scale too, remember that ;)
