I was just putting together some gym equipment for my client who's building a home gym.

If there's one thing I know I shouldn't have been, it's a builder.

I struggle to put together an IKEA bookshelf, you should see me doing gym equipment 😂

We spent more time unscrewing screws and putting the washer on the screw, then re-screwing the screw in than assembling the actual gym equipment.

The instructions weren't wrong, they were just incredibly short.

They were just pictures with numbers and arrows.

I felt like I was back in an escape room.

The main reason we were facing problems wasn't because of the instructions though, it was because we were too eager to get started, instead of sitting down and planning the attack.

We jumped straight in and I ended up building the GHD facing the wrong way 🤣

Then we put the bench together with the wheels facing the wrong way 🤣🤣

It was a bit of a nightmare tbh.

Thinking without starting is a lot better than starting without thinking.

I see it over and over again.

Starting a keto diet without knowing how to do it or how it even works for fat loss.

Just jumping on the treadmill with no idea how it contributes to fat loss.

Jumping on the bench press and going as heavy as possible without knowing correct form or how to warm up properly.

I'm all for going in and getting shit done but doing it without thinking never results in anything good.

Which is exactly why in Team Brock Ashby I customise your program for you.

I think about your workout program in relation to your goals.

Your diet in relation to your physical activity level.

Your goals in relation to your timeline.

I do all the thinking, so you can do all the starting!

Let's go!
