Being A Try-hard Isn't That Bad

When I was younger, my job didn't even exist.

I started out wanting to be an All Black like every other kiwi kid.

Rugby is life.

Then I wanted to be a guitar/singing teacher as I steered away from sport after my mum passed.

Then a singer/songwriter as I thought I was okay at it.

Turns out I wanted to be a TV presenter the next year.

Then I backed myself to be a personal trainer when I realised I didn't like talking about after school shows and who just released a new single.

I wanted to talk about stuff that matters.

Stuff that changes the trajectory of peoples paths.

And now I’m an online coach, doing what I love.

Helping people figure out how to be their best when they may feel like they've been at their worst for too long.

Whether you’re trying too figure out what you’re passionate about, or trying to shed a couple of kilos, the longer you wait for the perfect time to make a move, longer it will take you to make that perfect move.

The truth is, nothing is perfect.

No person, no career, no relationship, no parent and no amount of money.

So why wait for something that doesn’t exist?

🤯

No timing is perfect but in every decision there is a perfect reason to start right now.

If you want to build muscle, put progressive overload in your program today.

If you want to lose fat, get in a deficit today.

If you want to make more money, reduce your spending today.

If you want to get more sales, make more phone calls today.

Doing the same things get you the same results.

We all know that.

But that difference you want to see is not in what you’re doing now, it’s in what you know you should be doing... TRYING.
