Lately, I've really been loving the night dip.

Kiki and I get in some steps, we go for a quick swim, pop some bombs and walk back home.

And I know what you're thinking...

"It must be cold swimming at night"

But it's not.

For the same reason it's easier to go to the gym when your friends go to the gym.

And the same reason it's easy to stop smoking if none of your mates smoke.

My environment (the temperature at 7pm) makes it easier to get in the water (the ocean that's usually cold) .

Think about when it's hot outside, it's cooler in the water. It feels fresh. The difference between the two is larger.

However, if you're outside and its not that warm, the difference between outside and the water isn't that large, so the water feels warm.

It's all relativity.

This outlines why it's so important to curate an environment that makes the difference between where you are now and where you want to be as small as possible.

This will make a smoother transition.

A path of least resistance to where you want to be.

So if you don't want to join Team Brock Ashby to have me as your coach, fair enough.
