Is the turd worth it? 💩
When I was younger, I wanted to be a zookeeper.
Look after animals, feed them, protect them.
It seemed amazing.
Until I went to the zoo and saw most of them that were starting out sweeping hay and cleaning up big piles of poo.
Sure some of them did the feeding shows and made sure their exhibits were operating fine but a lot of them were doing the dirty work that you don't really see on the zoo TV shows or read in animal books.
So, I decided I didn't want to clean up poo and changed my focus.
But with every goal there is some element of cleaning up poo.
If you want to found a business, you have to pull late nights, write many emails, have meetings that amount to nothing.
If you want to get your pocket money, you have to mow the lawns and wash the dishes (well I had to).
If you want to be the best on the rugby field, you have to do extra work kicking goals, going for runs, doing sprint training and tackle practice.
Every goal requires you to clean up huge piles of poo.
The bigger the poo, the bigger the reward.
If you want to drop body fat you have to clean up the huge turd of eating less, which sucks but is essential to make progress.
The real question is...
Is the turd worth it?
I'll show you the poo you have to clean up to get there because truth is, a lot of people are cleaning up big piles of poo they don't even need to touch.
