Tears, Breakdowns, Country Relocations, Career Changes and Loneliness

This week has been one of the most successful weeks for #TeamBrockAshby with clients coming onboard to transform their bodies.

Majority of the people coming from the USA, Australia, Philippines and Indonesia.

I’m buzzing!!

I’m blown away!!

I started in 2015 with a handful of clients in Auckland as a 21 year old and now I get to train people all over the world.

To be honest with you, my days in Auckland were some of the toughest days of my life.

I moved out at the age of 19 with no family and few friends in Auckland. I packed my life into a Honda Civic Hatchback and drove 2 days from the bottom of NZ to the top to arrive in Auckland from Christchurch.

I started searching for jobs....

I worked retail selling Jandals (Aussies call them thongs, we call g-strings thongs though).

I then worked as a TV Presenter/Model.

Throughout this whole time I was pursuing music but ultimately I ran out of money...

I had a career change at the age of 20 (one of the lowest points of my life) and decided to drop my professional music career and become a personal trainer.

I trained people.... Burnt myself out (big breakdown) and moved to the Gold Coast to be with my brother and start a new life in Australia.

I trained people and still pursued music. Struggled to make friends and struggled to relate to people.

I then moved to Sydney where I now do what I love with all my heart.

That’s a long, long story made very, very short but here’s the take away...

Nothing worthwhile comes easy.

Or in my case... nothing worthwhile comes without tears, breakdowns, country relocations, career changes, doubt, loneliness and isolation.

So why do we expect the body of our dreams to come overnight, like it's not exactly the same as our life?

Think about it.

IT’S EXACTLY THE SAME!

It will be worthwhile! But no promises on it being easy...
