Not Just A 50 Minute Walk...
Lately I’ve made a small change to my daily habits.
I walk to the gym, 25 mins there, smash a workout and 25 mins back.
Sometimes I even run if I’m feeling up to it but most of the time I don’t because I’m not a big fan of cardio haha.
There’s many benefits...
It increases my NEAT (steps).
It gives me 50mins to do whatever I want. Sometimes I listen to a podcast. Sometimes I leave my headphones in and just listen to nothing and let my mind wander.
It gives me time for myself.
I used to struggle to find time to think for myself and take time to think about the things I wanted do think about.
My ideas, my methods, my strategies, my ambitions, my problems I need to solve, my friends, my family.
I just wouldn't have the mental space for it.
Instagram doesn't help sometimes either #insta
But I never thought such a small change would bring such big results.
I never thought losing 50mins out of my day would actually feel like it gives me more time.
What’s that small change that you need to make?
Is it a walk?
Is it mediation for 10mins before work?
Is it cooking breakfast for your kids before they go to school?
Whatever it is, only you know and only you can make that change.
No one else can do it for you.
But let me suggest you one that has the potential to change your life.
GIVE TIME TO GAIN TIME
