Why I Only Shower Once A Day
Last night I put myself to bed early because I needed sleep.
You can probably tell by the ruthless honesty of the last email 😂
This morning I woke up super fresh after 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep and evening had a morning shower.
I'm not a big fan of the morning shower to be honest.
If you shower at night and sleep in a clean bed then why shower again?
You had a clean body, slept in a clean bed and now you want to shower that clean body again?
FOR WHAT?
I'm all for great hygiene but showering a clean body is like driving a car through the car wash, parking in the garage overnight and driving straight into the car wash again.
Anyway, that has nothing to do with what I want to tell you today in this email.
This morning, I put my 15min timer on, put my phone face down on the coffee table and started reading.
A habit I started about 1 - 2 months ago (highly recommend you doing this too if you love learning).
My timer went off and I quickly flicked to the back of the book to see how many pages I need to read to finish the book.
Turns out I'm halfway through the book.
As I flicked all the way to the back I stumbled across a quote that shook me like a 10 on the richter scale.
I think I read the most impactful quote to ever come across my eyes and I want to leave it with you and hope that you get the same motivation from it that I did.
Before you read the quote here's a definition of a word that I had to google 🤓
This is the quote:
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
Steve Jobs.
