Crap Belongs In The Toilet, Not Your Brain

Alright, listen up!

This is going to be short and sharp.

Here are the things you need to leave behind in 2019:

- Starvation mode. It doesn't exist. Eating fewer calories does not lead to fat storage. It's impossible.

- Believing you lost weight through keto, vegan, intermittent fasting, low carb, low fat diet etc. That was the method you used to lose weight but the principle that you actually lost the weight by was the calorie deficit you implemented through your diet that you chose to follow.

- The "best exercise" for *insert muscle group here*. There is no best exercise for any muscle group. However, there is a giant range of good exercises for a certain muscle group that can be programmed in a way to provide amazing results.

- The desire for a quick fix. Looking for a way to become an overnight billionaire is plain stupid, so is the search for overnight results. There isn't one, stop looking for one.

- Overlooking sleep. Sleep is hard to monetise. It isn't talked about much in the fitness industry because of this reason but it is the most beneficial of all lifestyle factors we can manipulate for optimal results in all aspects of life (inside and outside of the gym).

- Supplements will get you to your goal. No they won't. Adherence to a workout program, consistent nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits will. Supplements can help but will never be the sole purpose of success. 3-5g per day of Creatine Monohydrate never hurt anybody though.

- If I do *insert insta-famous person here*'s workout, I'll look like them. No you won't. It's okay to take inspiration and workouts from people off the internet but it will not make you look like them. Everyone has their own genetic pool and work ethic which determines what they look like.

Be the best you, not the second best someone else.

There was a lot of crap in 2019 and just like a piece of crap, I want you to flush it down the toilet and forget about it.
