Confirmed Or Unconfirmed, We Are All Infected ?
Today, a wife had an anxiety attack.
Today, someone got tested for Coronavirus.
Today, someone's gym has been closed down.
Today, someone's business lost revenue, a lot of revenue.
This is just a few things that have happened in my circle today.
Regardless of how much we are being affected personally, we are all feeling it in some way.
169,713 people are confirmed infected.
6,519 people are confirmed dead.
77,401 have recovered.
But these 253,633 lives aren't the only ones being affected.
Millions of people are fearful.
Running around supermarkets stocking up on anything they can stock up on.
And even though 11x more people have recovered from coronavirus than people have died, we are still choosing to look at the deaths.
A life is a life.
The value of a life will never drop but the value of a positive perspective will also never dissipate.
For every bad story there could be 11 more good stories.
For every shelf that is empty in a supermarket aisle, there is a shelf at your home full of food.
For every metre you have to keep distant from interaction, there's a virus that’s spread is slowing.
For every gym that shuts down, there is a workout to be done at home.
For every face mask, there is someone breathing fresh air.
Perspective can save us or infect us, the story we tell ourselves dictates if we are saved or infected.
