Left the house today to go for a walk down by the water with Kiki.

We were gone for 90mins.  90mins of fresh air, quality time and freedom from technology and our apartment.  For a long time I wasn't into walks or spending time for "me" [now 'us'].  I thought it was a waste of time.  I wouldn't even want to travel …

90mins of fresh air, quality time and freedom from technology and our apartment.

For a long time I wasn't into walks or spending time for "me" [now 'us'].

I thought it was a waste of time.

I wouldn't even want to travel or go away on holidays.

Once again, a massive waste of time.

Why do that when you can get work done, lift weights or actually do something productive NOW?

I would put my head down and work, work, work.

Only to bite myself in the ass because the ladder was on the wrong wall.

Although I had climbed so high I was not at all where I wanted to be.

If only I had stepped back, got some perspective and really thought about where I wanted to be, I would have been exactly where I desired to be.

Taking time to work inside doesn't take time away from what you're working on outside.

You can diet, diet, diet but if your calories are wrong in the first place you're wasting time.

You can workout, workout, workout but if your program doesn't make sense, neither does your workout.

That 1 hour or $100 you should've invested into getting the ladder on the right wall would have made all the difference.

Don't be like me, be smart.

Get the plan in place before you do the work.
