Who Wants To Be A Calorie Millionaire

Yesterday I flipped some peoples worlds upside down.

I posted my calories on my instagram stories.

That is, how many calories I eat every day.

At the moment I'm eating between 3300-3500 calories per day and have lost 1kg after 3 weeks.

Yes, I lose weight on 3500 calories per day.

My maintenance is about 4000 calories per day and if I want to gain weight I bump up to about 4500 calories.

I know that sounds like a lot of calories because it is but this is what type of human I'm feeding.

A human that works out six days per week, walks 19,000 steps per day (check my Fitbit profile) and has trained for 12 years (4380 days!!).

Some people are on 1600 calories or at best 1800 calories and were so envious towards me because of how much I can eat but guess what?

Don't compare your 12 weeks with my 12 years.


I'm like a calorie millionaire.

I've been saving for 12 years.

Building muscle.

Being active.

Eating substantial amount of calories.

That's the nutritional equivalent to taking thousands of dollars every week straight to the bank.

I'm not here to rub my calories in your face.

I'm here to tell you to go at your pace.

You're starting where you're starting.

You may even be restarting from where you gave up hope and lost motivation.

I can only take you at your speed, not mine.

Focus on your 12 weeks, not my 12 years.
