It's Day 28 of the 30 Day Krispy Kreme Challenge today.

I'm down 3.2kg and I want to give you a bit of insight into what weight loss will feel like:

- You will go to bed feeling a bit hungry.

- Your training will suffer a bit.

- You will think about food a bit more

- You will wake up feeling hungry.

- You won't want to move as much. You'll probably opt for sitting instead of standing.

The reason I'm telling you this is so you don't get surprised when you start dieting.

So often I will say "eat less and move more" to lose weight.

Which is true.... but that doesn't mean it's easy.

A diet is controlled starvation.

Controlled starvation.

I'm not here to poop the party but to give you some realistic expectations, so that when you start trying to lose weight you don't throw the toys out of the cot because you're a bit hungry.

But the good news is, there are strategies to help it become easier.

Eat more satiating foods.

Eat later toward the day to make you feel full before bed.

Try intermittent fasting.

Increase your protein as it's the most satiating macronutrient.

Sleep more. The more time you're asleep, the less time you have to eat!

That's just the tip of the iceberg.
