Today I casted for a modelling job that's happening on Wednesday.
I may get it, I may not.
If I don't get it, all I lose is 5mins of feeling like an idiot trying to model and be someone who's super excited to have a new tablet that they're studying on.
I was meant to be a UNI student, hence the outfit.
If I do get it, I meet some new people, have a different environment for a day and get paid.
I'm not too fussed either way but if I didn't put myself out there I would never know.
To be honest, I get more of a kick out of pushing my comfort zone than the job itself.
Which is what stops everyone from doing what they want to do.
FEAR.
UNCERTAINTY.
THE UNKNOWN.
Whatever you want to call it.
That is the plague that's killing all of our dreams.
So, any opportunity you get to stretch your capacity and learn something new or meet new people or challenge who you are... take it.
Or if it's asking a chick/dude out because you've been too scared to ask them for over a couple of weeks, then get out of this email and make a phone call and ask them.
Do whatever it takes because mediocrity thrives in your comfort zone.
