Todays my 27th birthday.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes, every message makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

I know that we all want 2020 to end and get on with a new beginning of a new year with no restrictions and lockdowns but there will always be negativity when that is all you talk about.

Can’t go out.

Can’t see family.

Can’t go to the gym.

Yes, it sucks sh*t.

But I think this can really drive up our gratitude and help us appreciate what we do have.

The ability to zoom or FaceTime our friends and family.

The extra time on our hands to spend with the people that we can or to spend doing things that fill our cup up.

A body to exercise with.

A new year to make huge changes.

Reflecting back on 2020, it’s been a great year.

I got engaged.

I still got to travel.

I saw my family from NZ.

Team Brock Ashby had the biggest year yet in a worldwide pandemic.

That’s what I choose to see.

Not the fact that we couldn’t travel internationally or had to be locked down in the house for extended periods of time.

Or anything else that was crappy about my year.

What you focus on is what you get.

And if you want to focus on smashing 2021 with a body transformation in 8 weeks.
