DIY or DDIY
In life, there are things that are DIY and DDIY.
DIY = Do it yourself
DDIY = Don't do it yourself
For example, today I fixed the spacebar of my laptop with 4 knives thanks to youtube. That was DIY.
And I create my own content for my social pages. That's DIY.
But there's somethings that are DDIY.
Like reading contracts to make sure you don't get ripped off or fixing your dishwasher when it breaks down.
The thing that separates a DIY task from a DDIY task is your skillset.
If I loved cars and did a few mechanic courses, a broken down car motor might be a DIY task for me but since I can hardly put on a spare wheel, it's a DDIY task and I let an expert do it.
So if you've done a few program design courses and a few nutrition courses here and there, you might think your health and fitness is a DIY task and it just might be.
You might be happy with your results and your progress.
But if you're not, don't mistake a DDIY task for a DIY task.
Too many do.
They spend hundreds of dollars on gym memberships.
They invest thousands of hours working out.
They eat various healthy meals but still don't get results and feel like they're chasing their tail.
That is when someone has clearly mistaken a DDIY task and a DIY task.
