The E-mail That I Never Sent...

I just found this e-mail that I wrote on the plane on the way to Manila...

It reads:

"I'm sitting on the plane to Philippines mid-flight with pen on paper.

Writing this e-mail on my book to transfer over later [which I clearly didn't do].

I could do it on my phone but that might take too much battery life.

If my phone dies, Spotify dies, then I die lol.

This flight doesn't have head phone ports, movies, games or even in-flight food.

Economy as economy gets.

Capital 'E'.

A part of me would love to be at the front of the plane except this plane doesn't even have first class, business class or premium economy. The best it gets is exit row.

But I kinda like the back of the plane.

Keeps me appreciative for the small things in life (that often mean the most).

Like my best mate beside me on the plane.

Like this paper and pen.

Like the ideas floating around my head.

Like the 8 hours in the air of the flight to think about life, clients, work, goals, dreams and self development.

That's priceless.

No matter how far we move forward in life, these simple things never leave, our perspective is the only thing that does.

This may be the most uncomfortable 8 hours of my life, yet the most meaningful and productive.

It's funny how the most uncomfortable of times can be the most beneficial.

Just like the 10th week of dieting a 12 week diet.

Just like the last rep that pushes you over the edge of failure.

Be comfortable being uncomfortable.
