What Happened When I Put Myself Out There...
I've been thinking a lot about a few things lately...
Why do people do thing that they don't want to do (voluntarily)?
Whether it's for two years or 40 years.
It's because they're scared of change or putting themselves out there.
But when you look back at every awesome thing that has happened in your life, usually it is because you put yourself out there.
I left Christchurch in a Honda Civic with no job to move out on my own and now I'm independent because of it.
I put myself out there and went live on instagram for days on end and ended up getting invited to fly to Chicago to train a high net worth individual for two weeks.
I left the gym in 2019 to go fully online with only $2000 (not even enough for my monthly rent) and now Team Brock Ashby is bigger than it's ever been.
I bought a diamond ring and put myself out there by asking Kiki to marry me and now I'm marrying her.
I'm not sending this email out to tell you of what has 'worked out' in my life but to encourage you to challenge the status quo.
Reach out for opportunities and they will reach back.
Align yourself with what you want to achieve and give it your best shot.
Because it feels a lot better striving for something that fulfils you, compared to dragging yourself through something that slowly kills your passion for living.
I'm not a life coach by any means, I just want you to enjoy your life.
And the first step to enjoying your life, is putting yourself out there for the things that bring you joy in life.
Whether that's gardening or writing books.
