How To Get Better At What You Hate πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ’»

This is a screenshot of the progress I'm making through my online course.

The struggle with online courses is putting the time in to do them.

It's easy to study or listen when someone is in front of you demanding your attention but the challenge is putting the work in when no one is watching.

I stuffed up my first online nutrition course and didn't sit the exam.

I got the knowledge but not the cert, which I wasn't too worried about anyway.

Being motivated is doing something when it's easy.

Being disciplined is doing something when you can't be arsed.

Like hitting the gym when your gym buddy bails on you.

Going for a run when it's raining.

Or cooking dinner after a huge days work instead of Uber Eats-ing it because it's convenient.

But these small disciplined actions are where the big results are.

Every time I watch a video, I get 1% closer to completing the course and moving on to another one.

Just like every time you go to bed instead of scrolling mindlessly through insta, you get closer to feeling better the next day and being at your best.

Success isn't achieved through motivated actions, it's achieved through disciplined actions.

So stop waiting for motivation and develop your discipline.

How do you do that?

Do what you need to do when you don’t want to.

The more you do it, the easier it becomes.
