How To Become Indestructible When Your Back Is Up Against The Wall 🧱
Even if you're not lockdown like we have been for almost 10 weeks now, I think it's a very important idea that we know how to generate our own momentum.
Friends give us momentum when they make us laugh.
Family give us momentum when they tell us they love us.
Our career gives us momentum when we hit targets we weren't aware that we could hit.
Our ability to go to the gym gives us momentum to continue to progress in our training.
Now, many of us are stuck in a world where all of this momentum, we used to feel, does not exist.
So now... where can we get it from?
The answer is closer than you think.
It's within ourselves.
Now you need to develop your own momentum.
Which is hard, very hard.
Much harder than getting someone else to help you along with it but a skill well worth developing.
When you don't need to rely on anyone to push you further, you can be self sufficient.
That doesn't mean you don't need, or want, people around, we will always need the help of other people.
But it means when you're caught with your back against the wall, you can push off it and people yourself to where you want to be or turn around to face the wall and smash it down.
Whatever metaphor works for you, if you can psyche yourself up and do the work, you will get very, very far with whatever you put your mind to.
Which is why in Team Brock Ashby, I provide so much education.
So that you can take it on board and run with it.
I will not be there to hold your hand and whisper 'calorie deficit' in your ear every day.
So you better get stuck into the education and learn as much as possible and become self sufficient.
Indestructible when caught in a place where you may have previously felt trapped.
