How To Live Like The People Who Live The Longest In The World 🌍
Quick and educational one from me today.
These places that are highlighted here are known as the Blue Zones of the world.
The places where people live the longest.
They have low rates of chronic diseases and are somewhat some of the healthiest people on the planet.
And the reason that they live the longest is not because of their workout program or their diet but all aspects of their lifestyle.
They have low stress.
They on average get adequate sleep.
They get outside and spend time in the sun.
They are involved in a community of people.
They often have faith in a higher purpose (God, The Universe), if I remember that correctly.
They are physically active. They don't exactly pump weights 5x per week but they move.
The thing that we can learn from this is...
Health is multifaceted and stands on many pillars.
If you're working out consistently for years but sleep 4 hours a night and eat poorly, you wouldn't really be doing yourself a service.
If you eat well but are highly stressed, don't exercise and isolate yourself from people, you're also prioritising one pillar and forgetting about the rest of the.
I hope you take this on board and begin to look at your health as much more than just a few meals and a few reps in the gym.
Although that can make huge changes, you are the one in control of your stress, sleep, movement outside of your workouts and how you surround yourself with a supportive network of people.
