5 BENEFITS OF A TRAINING PROGRAM

1) Structure.

4 sets of 10 reps on the bench press.

5 sets of 5 reps at 9/10 RPE intensity.

12 reps at 2010 tempo on a decline.

20 reps at 2020 tempo with 60seconds rest.

What, where, how, what and why should all be covered.

2) Accountability.

With a program to follow you are accountable to it.

It's like having a friend waiting for you at the cafe, you'll always show up.

3) Measurable progress.

You can track your weights and see how you're progressing and actually see if the program is working!

If it's not measured, goals aren't treasured.

4) No guesswork.

As I said yesterday... Random training = random results

5) Purpose.

You have a reason to train, a reason to show up and a guide through the clanging and banging, sweaty and grunting concrete jungle we call the gym.

One thing I can't forget to mention...

If it's not personalised and customised to you it's like trying to wear your older brothers clothing.
