One of the most common questions I am asked is how to speed up your metabolism.
To answer this, let me introduce you the three-toed sloth.
This little guy has the slowest metabolism per kg of bodyweight.
They burn around 38.7 calories per kg of bodyweight per day.
They weigh 4kg on average.
So they burn approximately 154.8 calories per day.
Why is their metabolism so low?
They don't move much, approximately 37.8 metres per day, and the rate at which they move is terribly slow too at around 0.27km/h.
So if you want to boost your metabolism, look at increasing how much you move and the rate at which you move.
In other words, get off your a$$ and get in at least 8-10k steps per day and workout at least 4x per week (whatever that may be but I recommend it to be lifting weights).
These two factors will dramatically increase your metabolism instantly!
