What To Do If You Have No Motivation 😤

Yesterday I was answering a question on my Instagram stories doing a Q&A, which I do every day.

The question was...

"What's the best way to motivate for the gym if you've [not] been for a while and need a change?"

My answer was to simply set goals.

Goals give you direction.

Direction gives you a pathway to progress.

A pathway to progress gives you motivation because there's nothing like some forward momentum and results to keep you motivated.

On the contrary, if you have no goals, you have no direction.

Then you have nowhere to progress and nothing to strive towards.

That leads to boredom and boredom leads to unhappiness.

"If you have room for boredom in your life, you have room for unhappiness."

Have you ever met someone that's always bored out of their brains, loving life or doing something productive with their time? Neither have I, and we never will.

You are made to make progress and you are literally doing yourself a disservice if you're not aiming for anything.

So if you're not motivated, set some goals, apply yourself to something and surprise yourself with how resilient you are.
