For the last 5 nights, I've been mixing it up in the bedroom.

Trying things I have never tried before.

Getting out the tape and...

Well...

Putting it over my mouth to help me stop snoring (so I don't get divorced) and increase the quality of my sleep overall.

And this is the first time in years I have had dreams in consecutive nights.

Which is a sign that I am in much deeper sleep than before.

Because even though I may not have remembered waking up in the middle of the night, we often do but forget about it in the morning, but a dream is a sign that I am actually asleep.

I have never struggled with falling asleep, or staying asleep, but my wife says I literally sound like I'm drowning when I'm sleeping and tend to snore when I'm really tired.

To prevent this, there's a strategy to tape your mouth shut (like an X, so there is room to breathe out the sides of your mouth if needed).

It can be uncomfortable at first but when you get used to it, it can be really great.

Not only has my snoring reduced but I would say I feel 5-10% better throughout the day which pours out into my work and training.

This was not an expensive change to my life yet one of the best for my sleep and my wife's sleep.

Change doesn't have to cost a lot, it just has to change a lot.

Going to bed early cost you nothing.

A gym membership costs you next to nothing.

Quitting smoking costs you nothing.

Asking a friend to come for a workout costs nothing.

Going for a walk costs nothing.
