Had a conversation with my dad on the phone today, love chatting with him.

He was proud to announce that he now had a $250 dollar phone that can receive pictures.

Big steps for dad.

Right now, picture this...

A person draws stick figures.

This person freaks out when the cursor moves on a PC.

The same person has never owned an e-mail address.

He has owned a flip phone up until today.

That's my dad.

The nicest, happiest person in the world with very little knowledge and awareness in technology.

We had a massive laugh today because he said his email was "insert e-mail here"@.com.

I was hysterical at an email ending in @.com.

Wow, I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

He also said he had a broad-fi connection on his phone.

He confused the ideas of broadband and wifi together and made up a concept of his own.

Last week he tried to put his phone on speaker with me and straight hung up on me.

The very little knowledge my dad has in technology causes him to make mistakes and slows his progress to make his life easier by using technology to enhance it.

As opposed to making his life better, it makes it harder.

Don't let health and fitness do the same to you.

Don't get confused by supplement companies selling you bull crap.

Don't be fooled by 'quick fix' programs and 'instant result' programs.

Take hold of your goals and educate yourself into your results.

LACK OF KNOWLEDGE LEADS TO LACK OF PROGRESS.
