Anybody Know A DJ in Africa??
Today I was talking to someone that was interested in what I do for work.
I explained what I did and he spat out over 5 different business pitches that I should try:
1) Train millionaires in Mauritius.
2) Be a personal trainer at his companies gym.
3) Develop a product to scan people and provide a solution to what their body needs.
4) Open up gyms in Africa.
5) Pursue singing as part of a DJ set in party countries.
Complete word vomit and he didn't listen to what I said I am developing for the future of my clients and people that also need my help.
I politely said no to all of these options and we said good bye with a handshake.
If you don't have a purpose, a purpose will find you.
Even if you don't like that purpose they propose, you'll probably consider it and may even pursue it, simply because you have nothing else to do.
I'm not saying that you should be close minded, i'm saying spend some time to find what you're called to achieve on this earth and DO THAT.
I spent weeks and weeks and weeks, crying at the altar of church as a young 14 year old boy because I had so much energy, passion and zeal to take over the world with what I was going to do for work but I just didn't know where to direct it.
That's why i'm obsessed with coaching and developing others to the best they can and wouldn't do anything else.
I've finally found it.
I've found 'MY THING'.
What's your thing?
Take time to find it.
Don't rush it and don't be afraid to try new things but don't be pushed around by someone else's purpose that you're not feeling.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE PURPOSE, A PURPOSE WILL FIND YOU.
