5 Years Ago I Wouldn't Have Done It
A waitress gave me this today while I was taking over the world (a.k.a doing work on my laptop).
I thought it was just a nice gesture, which it was.
But I found her name and number at the bottom of the bag on the receipt when I finished eating it ;)
5 years ago I wouldn't have touched this cupcake.
Even though it was tiny, I would've said, "Thanks, but no thanks".
I would've pretended I was going to eat it later and threw it in the bin when I got home.
Don't worry, don't worry, I would have given it to a room mate if I had one but I prefer to live alone #introvert lol
The old me would've just seen all the dietary fat and sugar in it and saw how it was just empty calories.
The old me would've thought I would have to go to the gym for an extra 30mins to burn that cupcake off.
The old me thought sugar was the devil and unnecessary sweets like cupcakes were sent from the devil himself.
The old me was a bit of a drag to be honest.
But the reason I ate it was to prove to myself that I can eat the foods I love and make it work within my calories and still hit my goals!
Knowledge is power and education is freedom.
Freedom from a life of unnecessary restriction.
Which was a [ very restricted ] life I lived from 14 - 20 years old.
I have received so many emails from clients letting me know how happy they are that they have lost weight without doing cardio, lost fat from still eating pasta and transformed their body without feeling like they are starving 24/7 and without avoiding carbs like the plague.
Learn yourself to a better you.
Educate yourself to a life without restriction.
