I had a 45min window of free time today, where I had many options of things I wanted to do:

- edit socials video

- write copy for socials caption

- complete Team Brock Ashby sign up programs

- do further readings for my studies

- write daily e-mail

But what I ended up doing was what I needed to do...

When I first met a new PT at my gym called Sri [been there for about 6 weeks] I said to him that if he ever wanted to know anything I may know or wanted my help with anything I'll be there for him.

Today he asked if I could help him with nutrition.

I love this guy he's such a genuine dude, super hungry to learn.

English isn't his first language and he isn't the most confident person either.

But his passion for education and eagerness to learn is gravitational.

I ran him through my talk I presented to my clients before I left to Chicago and added in a few extras.

I ran him through everything I spoke about with nutrition, which is all he wanted to know.

Protein.

Carbs.

Fats.

Body transformation hierarchy of importance.

Calories in vs. calories out.

Supplements.

Metabolic adaptation.

Sleep.

Keto diet.

Vegan diet.

Intermittent fasting diet.

Low carb / low fat diet.

Refeeds.

Stress.

Principles + Methods.

To name a few...

We talked about many things but the thing that stuck with him the most was this quote I came up with on the spot.

"The principle is dependant on your goal. The method is dependant on your preference."

With the right knowledge base of principles for our clients goals, we can offer the method we will use to achieve their goal.

That 45mins I could've used selfishly, was spent giving education to a new PT.

WHY?

I wish I had someone who did that for me.

Which I did, my awesome mate Konya, but if he wasn't around I would've been stranded.

Knowledge is power.

Knowledge gives perspective.

Knowledge allows optimal results.
