This Quote Could Save Just About Everyone Addicted To Instagram

I'm scared.

To be very, very honest with you, I'm shit scared.

People are writing whatever the hell they think they are on their instagram bio/facebook status and actually pretending they are what they are not.

#entrepreneur

#onlinecoach

#buisnesscoach

#influencer

#model and all the rest.

Taking photos of yourself and putting them on instagram does not make you a model, sorry.

Writing #entrepreneur in your bio does't make you one, sorry.

Just because you did a bodybuilding competition doesn't make you a good coach fit for others to entrust you with their bodies and health, sorry [not sorry].

People are in love with the idea of sounding successful and not the idea and journey of actually becoming successful.

The work ethic.

The many hours invested.

The sacrificed late nights and early mornings.

The grind.

Where did the love for that go?

That's where you actually become successful, in the trenches.

I'm a massive believer in visualisation and the law of attraction but straight out lying, fools no one but ourselves.

We need to stop focusing on the end result and fall in love with the process.

The "why" not the "what".

Instead of dreaming and aspiring to be a fire[wo]man, astronaut and doctor, I feel people are striving for the Lamborghini, lifestyle and expensive watches.

That's not the road there, that's the destination.

IT'S BACKWARDS.

We are remembered by what we say to people but more importantly, what people say about us.

Instead of worrying about what title you are giving yourself, worry about the value you are giving to the world.

Imagine if you asked your personal trainer, "Why do you do what you do?"

And he/she said, "I want a Rolls Royce, Rolex and a mansion."

You'd send him/her home early and get someone that lives, breathes and eats body transformations.

Someone that studies daily.

Someone that applies the knowledge he has to himself.

Someone that has a big portfolio of transformations.

Someone that cares, listens and has empathy.

"WE ARE REMEMBERED BY WHAT WE SAY TO PEOPLE BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US." B.Ashby, 2019
