Being Small Wouldn't Be Such A Bad Thing

I have read a lot of self development books.

You name it, I have probably read it.

But one book that will always have jewels in it is the Bible.

Whether you believe in God or not, there is something to learn form this gem of a book.

Here is one of my favourite pieces of writing....

"Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man." — Proverbs 6:6–11

The ants don't need orders to operate, they are proactive.

They work individually and also work together as a team.

They break down prey together and pass it back to the colony for food.

They have a goal to stay alive and provide for one another.

They have a tightly knit community that supports each other.

They work hard and they work smart.

Ants don't waste time watching TV and scrolling through socials.

Ants are active daily.

Ants are strong.

Ants get it done.

Be more like an ant.

You'll be surprised what you can achieve when you truly apply yourself like an ant does.
