30 Day Ice Cream Challenge - Day 1
Today is an important day.
Day 1 of the 30 Day Ice Cream Challenge.
I am going to eat 3 scoops of Gelato Messina Ice Cream for 30 days.
I'm doing this to prove you can eat the foods you love and still make progress towards your goal.
For years I avoided the foods I love because I thought that I needed to eat chicken breast and canned tuna in spring water with boiled kale to have a good body.
I remember cutting up pumpkin, cauliflower, broccoli and chicken breast and just throwing them into a big pot of hot water until they were cooked and eating that as a meal.
I was even too scared to put salt and pepper on my food because of the sodium content.
I would starve myself for hours if I binged.
I would carry boiled eggs to work and stink out the personal trainers fridge because I was so committed to eating "clean".
I would count calories down to the tee and punish myself with extra exercise to burn off the extra calories I consumed.
This is all part of my story but it doesn't have to be part of yours.
Our relationship with food is foundational to having a healthy life.
What we eat.
How we feel before, during and after we eat.
Why we eat.
When we we eat.
This effects how we live our life and how we feel as we go about our lives.
I will be recording myself every day, every step of the way of this challenge.
I have also called upon Kiki [Kristina] to join me too.
She'll be consuming one scoop of Gelato Messina every day for 30days.
I wanted her to do it with me to show a female perspective throughout the challenge.
This is not for me to prove that I know what I'm doing as a coach and that I know how to implement a calorie deficit whilst eating hyper palatable foods.
I'm doing this to save someone who was just like the younger Brock.
