Get Some Friends And Get Outside

Finished work at 2:45pm this evening.

Hit a workout.

Had dinner under the sun in Bondi with close friends.

Walked along Bondi beach asking people to pat their dogs on the way to get ice cream.

Everyone had ice cream at Messina (Day 2 of the 30 day Ice Cream Challenge).

Seriously, one of the best flavor selections I have ever made...

Had a flavor with Nutella ;)

Walked back along Bondi.

Had awesome chats the whole time.

I had one of the best nights I have had in a long time and none of it required much effort.

Phones were face down on the table at dinner, we actually talked to one another.

The sun was up and was setting the sky into a myriad of hazy purple-pinks.

It was memorising.

Nature is beautiful.

Sounds simple.... because it is.

I had a big weekend of anxious thoughts, hard work and low levels of human connection.

Rough weekend on me mentally.

So, today took a lot of stress off me and gave me some perspective on what's really important.

The people around us.

The people we call family, we call friends and we call our loved ones.

1) Get some friends [a friend].

2) Get outside.

3) Get your shoes off and on the earth.

It only needs to be about 15-30mins if that's all you can handle at the moment.

It helps me, maybe it will help you.

I feel a new man.
