15 Years Old vs. 50 Years Old

Trained with Freddie today.

A 15 year old champion of a kid.

Zeal pumping through his veins and a "YES MAN" attitude.

"You think you can handle more?"

"Yeah let's get 30s" he says.

"Do you wanna go up?"

"Yeah 20 more on each side", he says.

Have you ever met a 50 year old with that much vigour?

They're out there but they're really hard to find.

Their marriage possibly hasn't worked out.

They may have to share their kids on weekends with the ex partner.

They could be in a job they just do to pay their house off and expensive car to impress people they don't even care about.

They may have lost a mother or a father

Some of them may feel really 'trapped' by life.

But the thing is... they have trapped themselves by the way they see life #perspective

And that has an effect on your overall attitude.

The 50 year old that has been more exposed to the negative side of life will not carry the same amount of passion Freddie does in training in all areas of life.

I have crappy days.

I have experienced really shitty days and very deeply depressing thoughts but having the attitude that there is hope for better is essential.

Though we struggled on bodyweight walking lunges this week, next week we can hold a 5kg dumbbell in each hand.

Though I lost my job, I'll get a new one very soon that is even better suited.

Though I have gained 5kg of weight over the last 3 months, I can overcome my procrastination and take action.

Etc Etc
