The Longer You Wait, The Better It Gets
I was adding some additional recipes to the #TeamBrockAshby recipe database today and the overnight oats had me thinking...
They get better with time.
The flavors become more familiar with each other and soak together.
They become settled.
They relax.
Their patience allows them to be their best.
You can’t just put amazing toppings on and expect it to be delicious. That will end up like oat soup. Put some cling wrap over the jar, leave it in the fridge and go to sleep.
Get the recipe and the method right and be patient.
There’s no shortcuts to good overnight oats.
A lot like our results in the gym.
They come with patience. Unfortunately, they don’t come overnight like the oats.
You need to soak into your program.
You need to get familiar with your diet and the new lifestyle changes you have to make to get your goals.
But just like you need the right recipe, your training and nutrition needs the right strategy.
The recipe is catered to your taste buds, if you like.
NOTHING WORTHWHILE COMES OVERNIGHT. EXCEPT GOOD OATS.
