"Some Is Better Than None" Mindset

I’ve got the first symptoms of being sick.

Sore throat, cold, cough, mucus etc etc #yum lol

But ever since I was a kid I refused to admit that I was sick.

As soon as I got a cough, as soon as I got a sneeze, as soon as I started getting shivers, I would tell myself that I’m healthy.

I wouldn’t even say "I’m not sick" because it had the word "sick" in it! Couldn’t even say the word.

Still to this day, any chance I get I say, "I don’t get sick" because truth is I don’t want it anywhere close to me.

It’s like a mixture of the placebo affect and the law of attraction put together.

I would just refuse to be sick. Completely deny it.

I’ve seen what it does to my clients, my friends, my family, heck technically I lost my Mum to being sick (cancer).

I treat my life exactly the same.

I train, I work, I read, I create, I explore, I adventure, I give 100%.

Matter of fact, I’m writing this as I walk home from the gym where I smashed a shoulder workout!

No drop in weights. No fluffing around. No pathetic excuses. Just work.

WHY?

Some is better than none.

I thought of the quote below to sum it up!

"DONE IS BETTER THAN SOME. SOME IS BETTER THAN NONE. NONE IS THE SAME AS NOTHING"

There’s nothing else to say....

It may be better for me physically to rest and let my immune system recover but I could never just lay in bed at home knowing I could have done 'some' instead of 'none'.
