Be A User, Not A Loser
Flew into Gold Coast today after a long day of work.
Landed at 7:30pm ended up getting in the car and parked outside the gym at 9pm.
I was yawning all the way to the gym and sat there exhausted from the day.
I just sat there for a while thinking...
Is this one workout going to make a difference?
One day out of the rest of my life won't really make a biiiiiig difference.
One workout, 20 sets of 8-20 reps. Pffft, that's nothing!
"I'll work extra hard tomorrow"
LOL!
If I heard my client say that to me, they'd be in trouble...
I realised how pathetic I was being and got my ass in the gym.
Smashed my 20 sets, drove to my brothers house and here I am writing this email at half past midnight.
Truth is, that one workout didn't change my life at all but I used my will power.
And I see will power like this...
You use it or you lose it.
And I sure as hell ain't losing it.
Any opportunity that comes my way to use my will power and reinforce good work ethics.
I'll take it.
