The 'P' Word
On Thursday night, I went to Bad Boys For Life with Kiki.
And last night I went to 1917 with Konya.
If you're not big into movies, they're out in the cinemas at the moment.
I'm not really a big movie guy either, Kiki nearly died when I told her I hadn't seen Bad Boys 1 +2 #pleaseforgiveme
Kiki had waited about 10 years to watch this Bad Boys movie, it's ingrained into her childhood.
She loved Bad Boys but hates war movies, so it was perfect to watch 1917 with Dave.
And me, well I kinda like any movie, except movies that I have seen before.
I don't like knowing what is going to happen next.
Everybody has different preferences to what movies they prefer to watch and that's cool.
If you don't like a movie that I like, no drama.
We have different tastes.
But all of a sudden in the fitness industry, it's like a shit fight if you don't agree on the same thing.
"You have to eliminate carbs to lose weight!"
"If you're vegan, you'll never build muscle!"
"You have to eat fat to burn fat!"
Peoples diets are becoming religions.
They are forgetting about the 'P' word...
PREFERENCE
It's fine to disagree on movies but disagreeing on diets are actually ruining relationships.
I could lose weight on a keto diet but guess what?
I love ice cream, I love sushi and I love bread, so that definitely aint happening.
The best diet for you is the diet that you will stick to.
If you love carbs, eat them. You will still lose weight in a calorie deficit.
If you love avocados, almonds and other high fat foods like ice cream eat them. You will still lose weight in a calorie deficit.
And if you want to be a vegan, you can still build muscle.
Once again, the best diet for you is the diet that you will stick to.
P.s. If you haven't done gold class in movies yet, do it.
That seats are comfier than my bed 🤣
