At 37 he became and still is the youngest player ever to hit 33,000 points.
Oldest player ever to hit 60 points in a game. which was done in his last game of his career.
A real legend.
The amazing thing about Kobe is that he holds records from when he first stepped on the court to when he left it.
"I don't want to be the next Michael Jordan, I only want to be Kobe Bryant."
He was only trying to be himself. The best version of it.
That's how you get long term sustainable results.
If he tried to be like MJ, he wouldn't have lasted.
If he tried to play like LeBron, he wouldn't have been the Kobe we remember today.
I'm not a basketball follower but knowing who he was is a true testament to the global impact he had.
If there's anything we can learn from him and apply to ourselves.
It's to be ourselves, not anyone else.
If Kobe tried to be any other player, he wouldn't have set Kobe records.
Just like if we try and be someone else, we'll never set records that we will remember.
They'll just be a shadow of what someone else achieved.
To achieve the greatness we want, we must be that greatness.
RIP Kobe 🙏
