My Letter To Coronavirus
I'm writing this letter to help me see the positive side of this lockdown.
Take what you want form it.
Let's be honest, nothing about it is positive or bringing any good things to our lives but with gratitude we can see how life is good... in its simplest form.
Dear COVID-19,
Thank you for teaching me the importance of time with loved ones.
Without you, I may have continued to take them for granted.
Thank you for making me practice social distancing.
Without you, I may have not known the power social media has to connect us on a global scale and discover the capability we have to communicate digitally.
Thank you for teaching me the importance of working out and moving.
Without you, I may have continued to take the gym and my active lifestyle for granted.
Thank you for teaching me that 'who' is in the house is more important than 'what' is in the house.
Without you, I may have valued possessions over people.
Thank you for teaching me what is truly important.
Without you, I may have continued to pursue success over happiness.
Thank you COVID-19 for teaching me that nothing can kill the human spirit.
Without you, I may have accepted defeat in a global crisis.
Brock.
