I Thought My Career Was Over
Yesterday I spilt coffee all over my laptop AKA my office and career.
I was gutted.
Fully gutted.
Out of anyone in the last 3 years of my life, I have spent the most time with my laptop.
Sounds weird when you put it like that but when you think about it, yours could be your phone or your PC at work.
I probably spend between 4-6 hours in front of my laptop per day.
You may spend anywhere between 6-8 hours per day in front of your office.
It's fair enough though right?
We need to put time in front of our screens, to do our job and to get paid.
That's fine but the problem I have is this...
We spend 40 hours a week at work working for someone else but can't even put in 4 hours a week for ourselves.
We're telling ourselves we can't even give 4 hours in a week to workout?
4 hours a week to boost your positivity.
4 hours a week to make you feel more confident.
4 hours a week to look at the scales and smile.
4 hours a week to finally wear that pair of shorts we've wanted to wear for the last two years.
Let's put our income aside, our family too (just for a minute).
Would that 4 hours a week change our life?
