I Hope You Get Slapped Round The Head, I Really Do
A few weeks back thousands of people flocked to Bondi Beach to cool down on a 30 degrees celsius day.
The only thing was...
We were meant to be self isolating.
Though I'm sure in Sydney, no one was intentionally trying to spread COVID-19.
They definitely weren't helping.
There were 'guidelines' put in place, however sometimes we need enforcement to send a message.
Most of us ignore the guidelines we should follow...
We speed when we should drive the limit.
We litter when we shouldn't.
We don't brush our teeth three times a day.
We buy too much toilet paper when we shouldn't.
We eat McDonalds instead of a home cooked roast.
We watch TV when we should exercise.
There's two ways you can go about it.
You can tell yourself, "All right, this week I'm going to have a good week."
BUT YOU DO THAT EVERY FLIPPING SUNDAY!
So seriously, stop kidding yourself.
If you were going to change that habit you've been trying to change, it would've happened already if you could do it on your own.
But you need people to help you.
Your mother to slap you round the head when you litter.
A policeman to give you a fine to remind you to stop speeding.
Yellow teeth when you slack on brushing your teeth.
Or like me to get you losing weight, building muscle and feeling good about yourself again.
