Don't Worry About Your Calorie Deficit ❤️

Today I'm not here to ask you to join my 8 week program but to take a few moments to read this email.

To be honest with you, it’s hard to email you about joining Team Brock Ashby when there are such greater problems going on in the world than being shredded, chasing a low body fat percentage or building muscle.

I guess these problems have always been happening, it’s just being captured on phones and security footage now.

I just spent a few moments tuning into the news and updating myself with what has happened as a result of someone losing their because of the colour of his skin.

Working out can make the quality of our lives better but if love isn’t the foundation of how we live, we will never find fulfilment or happiness.

Moving our diet away from processed foods can make us feel more energetic but if that energy isn’t put towards treating all humans the same regardless of their ethnic background, skin colour or economic status, is our energy level what we need to focus on or is it what we do with that newly attained energy?

Getting adequate sleep can help lower stress and optimise recovery but if we’re waking up to a world of injustice, racism and riots we need to make the most of the hours we have with our eyes open to make a difference.

Love and empathy is always the answer, never hate.

None of us are perfect by any means and are all made equal.

As I’ve said beforewe‘ve all shit our pants and pissed the bed.

Like most of us were told at primary school as a kid,“treat others the way you want to be treated.”

A simple quote that will never expire in relevance.

Forget about a calorie deficit, love.

Forget about optimising muscle protein synthesis, love.

Forget about getting your NEAT up, love.

Forget hate, love.

❤️
