Why Having a $hit Day Isn't $hit
Today has been one of those days...
Was up at 3am staring at the roof not able to sleep last night.
I was moving from place to place while I was working to find my rhythm, which I never really found.
Dragged myself through my emails.
Forced myself to make content.
Pulled myself through my workout.
Had more caffeine than usual.
But these are the days that count.
When something is easy, it is exactly what it says... easy.
NOT CHALLENGING.
But when something is hard, when something feels forced, it build grit and resilience.
It makes the easier days, easier and the days that are harder, seem more do able.
It lifts your capacity to handle difficulty and increases the chances of something being easy.
Making it easier to have productive days, workouts, hours at work or whatever you're trying to improve.
So next time it feels hard.
Remember this.
Without hard times there are no good times.
It's that simple.
That's why in the 8 week program it isn't easy.
Workouts are hard.
The diet is difficult.
The lifestyle changes you have to make to better yourself are challenging.
But the results are well worth it.
