How To Turn Failures Into Wild Successes
This morning I had an email from a client who had a massive victory last week.
He gained 1.5lbs on vacation.
Some would see that as regress because 1.5lbs was gained when weight loss is the goal but the bottom line is, it's a win.
And here's why.
Previously on a vacation 10lbs would be gained.
We reduced the damage by 660%.
WHAT A WIN 🥳
Progress doesn't always have to be moving forward.
It can be minimising how much we move backward.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to lift a heavier weight, lose more kgs and look our best that when we fail, we fail huge.
Binge eating.
Cease working out.
Loss of all confidence.
There's a quote I once heard and applied it to business easily but now I can see how it applies here.
"Fail small, fail often."
Now I'm not saying that failing should be the goal but removing the pressure of failing.
Because we learn from failing, not succeeding.
The more we embrace failing, the better we can deal with it.
That's why gaining 1.5lbs on vacation is a wild success.
Because it is much better than gaining 10lbs or more and giving up on the goal.
Sure we all want the perfect linear transformational journey to our dream body but the truth is there are failures along every journey.
And the less we fear them and the more we embrace them, the faster we can get to the goal and learn from the screw ups on the way so we don't make them next time.
So when you sign up to the 8 Week Body Transformation you will receive a program that will bring amazing results.
And in a perfect world you will be 100% compliant, 110% committed and blown away by the results.
But even in the world we live in (the real world) that isn't perfect, I coach you through these things that some would call small failures but I like to call wild successes!
