I'm A Dentist Dressed Up As A Personal Trainer
Just spent over 3x the previous amount on a new toothbrush.
I'm religiously flossing twice a day.
Brushing twice a day without fail too.
I know that should be the 'standard' but it's easy to get lazy and substitute another coffee for three minutes of flossing.
I actually look forward to flossing and brushing now, when I used to just 'get it done'.
The only reason this new excitement has come over me is because I saw the dentist and he made me see how I needed to get my sh*t sorted with my teeth.
I just got two fillings a couple days back and need to keep an eye on a few things to make sure my gums and teeth stay healthy.
When I didn't know better, I didn't do better.
But as soon as he cleaned the years worth of coffee off of my teeth, I knew I had to change my ways to prevent it from happening again.
What is measured can be improved and it's exactly the same with your transformation.
If you don't know what you can improve, you won't improve it.
Which is what I'm here to do this morning.
I'm here to shake the tree and see what falls.
You know you can eat better.
You know you can be more active.
You know you can get more sleep.
You know you've been chasing your tail for a few months or years now.
You know you want to learn more about the science behind health and fitness, just like I knew I had to see the dentist but didn't for over two years.
This is your opportunity to make things better.
Look at me as the dentist.
Showing you what you need to work on before it's too late and your teeth start falling out.
Showing you the cavities in your teeth and how we can fix them.
Showing you how we can have that confident smile back.
