Not gonna lie, I'm a bit outta control.

I'm head over heels in love.

My heart rate hasn't dropped since Kiki said "yes" and neither has my calorie intake 🤣

I'm split between facetiming family and friends, going for dinners, replying to text messages, client emails/check-ins, zoom calls, writing programs and spending time with my fiancé.

I'm scattered.

My attention span is two minutes long.

My caffeine intake has tripled.

I haven't been training too much or too hard.

I've stopped tracking calories.

I haven't been posting as consistently as I usually do on my socials.

I've slept about 4 hours every night since being engaged.

But you know what?

THIS IS LIFE!

I'm only getting engaged once in my life and I'm gonna do it right.

Right now, what matters to me most is being with family and friends.

One week out of routine cannot undo 12 years of hard work in the gym or 5 years of relentlessly working for myself on a business that I so passionately believe in.

Sometimes saying "yes" to a piece of cake is just as big an achievement as saying "no" to the piece of cake is.

Maybe not for your body transformation but for your quality of life which is the most important thing to look after.

Training consistently and hard after an adequate nights sleep is such a good feeling but not at the expense of celebrating marrying the woman of my dreams.

Tracking calories down to the gram gives me such accurate feedback on my nutrition but it doesn't give me the satisfaction that going out for dinner with my friends to reminisce on the beauty of finding love does.

I'm not saying to fall off the wagon and enjoy life.

No way is that my message.

I'm saying that there's a time and place to go all in on your workouts, calories and macros and there's also time to go all in on other things in your life.

And we only have a finite amount of energy to give to an infinite amount of things that take our energy, so something has to give.

I would never take some food weighing scales to an engagement dinner, so I would never tell a Team Brock Ashby member to do it.

If you want to transform your body, you can.

If you want to enjoy you life, you can.

If you want to do both at the same time, you can too.

You just have to know what to do, how to do it and understand why you're doing it too.

Which is what I have dedicated my entire life to doing in the Team Brock Ashby 8 Week Body Transformation Program.
