Why I Left Face 2 Face Personal Training

A couple of days ago, Kiki and I worked out at the gym I started at as a personal trainer.

Fitness First Market St, the stomping ground.

Many of the personal trainers I used to work with were working away with their clients and I said hey as I passed.

It made me miss the face to face sessions.

The tangible touch I had on my clients lives and the difference I was able to help them make.

However, I was unable to help the amount of people I am helping transform their bodies today as online coach with results equal to the ones I was getting as a face to face trainer.

I was unable to learn and study as much as I am today. Studying outside of 8-14 sessions per day is near impossible with the programming and follow up I was doing.

I was unable to be as produce as much content as I do today, as I was always with clients.

I was unable to develop my writing and critical thinking as I do today, as I was always with clients once again.

I was unable to sleep as much as I needed to as I was overwhelmed with work.

So one day I decided that I needed to leave face to face training if I ever wanted to develop as a coach, as a student to the ever growing science of body transformations and as a person.

I left comfort for discomfort.

I left certainty for uncertainty.

I left clients for potential clients.

I left tangible for untangible.

But ultimately I left "unable to grow" for "room for growth".

Every risk has its reward and the bigger the reward, the bigger the risk.

And just like I took a risk, I help my team members gauge what sort of reward they want and how to overcome and deal with the risks that come with it.

If you want to lose 10kg in 8 weeks (reward) you 're going to have to jump into an aggressive calorie deficit, increase your steps and get into a regular workout routine (risk).

If you can handle it, we go forward and do our absolute best.

If you can't handle it, we change the reward and overcome or deal with the new risks that come with the different reward.

It's not rocket science, it's risk management.

But whatever reward you want there will always be discomfort, uncertainty and room for growth and learning opportunities.

Which is what I can help you deal with and grow from as well as getting you the reward that you want.

The question is...

Are you willing to take a risk?

If you're not, complacency awaits you.

If you are, I'm ready for you.
