Working With Kelly Rowland

Last year I went on The Voice Australia.

To be honest with you I thought I was done with singing but I thought there would be many benefits of going on the show that would extend further than another shot at the spotlight.

I auditioned and chose Kelly Rowland as my coach.

She was crying in the audition, we had a connection.

I lost my mum and she lost her mum.

We bonded over being broken.

It had to be her.

She's a star and she understood me.

I grew up watching her on my recorded VCR with a mattress on the floor in the lounge room.

A Destiny's Child star and also a solo star too.

As soon as I knew she was a coach on The Voice, I always knew I would choose her but never did I know that she would be my personal training client one year later.

People call them self "celebrity trainers" which I can't stand to be honest.

You're just a trainer mate and your client happens to be famous.

They don't do celebrity exercises and eat celebrity meals.

Celebrities are humans.

They just do exercises and eat normal meals.

Off your high horse...

Anyway, I got carried away.

Celebrities fart.

Celebrities trip on the floor.

They are exactly like us.

So if you ever have these thoughts of "Pfffft, I'll never look like her/him".

I'm telling you to drop it now.

You can. You just need to give it a go and stick with it.

Celebrities such as actors get paid a lot of money and have access to personal trainers to get into the correct shape for the role.

They're motivated by the big bucks and the opportunity (also subject to the person).

But what motivates you?

Hopefully this email.

You are the same as the person that has the body that you're striving for.

WHETHER YOU'RE BLACK, WHITE, STRAIGHT, GAY, RICH, POOR, HAPPY OR SAD. WE ALL DIE WITH A SKELETON IN OUR COFFIN.
